Job Duties: Preparing food and feeding (including special diets)Giving animals tablets or medicine (if required)Brushing/Cleaning animalsExercising dogs through play or walksKeeping kennels/cattery clean and hygienic, changing bedding, sweeping out and removing waste.Making sure cats have facilities in their pens for exercise e.g. toys, etc.Greeting visitors/clients and showing them aroundGood communication skillsKeeping all areas around the kennels/cattery clean and tidy

Qualifications / Experience: There are no particular requirements for becoming a kennel worker, however experience with animals and an animal related qualification will enhance your CV and put you in a strong position when applying for the job.Training will be provided
