Job Duties: The employer is: HOLISTICPET(NI)LTD.This clinic is provided by HolisticPet at Earlswood Vet Referrals. HolisticPet is Northern Ireland's most experienced veterinary pain management and rehabilitation practices.Duties will include:Assisting the vets and vet nurses in their duties caring for inpatients and outpatients. Maintaining exceptional standards of care towards the animals at all times and to be supportive members of the team. Setting the consultation rooms up for the outpatient clinics and maintaining high standards of hygiene between patients. Moving patients (animals) safely and efficiently between the different departments during their appointments. Assisting with the hydrotherapy of inpatients and outpatients. Assisting with the post-operative physiotherapy and rehabilitation of inpatients. Communicating politely and effectively both with clients and other staff members.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience: Ideally the candidate would have 1 year of animal care experience either employed or voluntary for example working in a kennels, grooming parlour, re-homing centre or veterinary practice. A minimum of 3 GCSEs grade A - C in at least Math's and English, and preferably an Animal Management qualification or working towards a qualification. The ability to work in a busy environment whilst multi-tasking is essential.
