Job Duties: The employer is: CAUSEWAY TREE SERVICES.A tree surgeon offers a range of services relating to the management of trees and hedges in a variety of locations and for a wide range of clients.The first stage involves working as a Groundsman Assistant on completion of relevant training undertaking the following tasks as part of a team: Loading equipment at business premises.Cutting up felled trees on the ground using a chainsaw.Dragging branches to the chipper and operating the chipper.Tidying up the site.Miscellaneous yard work.You will be entitled to annual leave during this job opportunity.
Qualifications / Experience: The successful applicant must: Have an interest in outdoors, trees and hedges and the environment (occasionally in challenging conditions).Be able to undertake heavy manual labour.Be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role and have good co-ordination.Be thorough and pay attention to detail.Work well as part of a team.Be good with their hands.Have a good understanding of health and safety.Have good customer service skills and have respect for customers and their property.Have the ability to use, repair and maintain equipment.Have the ability to use their own initiative.Have experience working in an outdoor environment would be an advantage.
