Job Duties: Town Hall, Bangor.To assist in ensuring that financial services to the Council are delivered efficiently, effectively and in a confidential manner.The person appointed will be responsible to the Head of Finance for the management of transaction processing teams within the Financial Operations Service Unit including the development and modernisation of processes.Please refer to Council website for a full description of the duties

Qualifications / Experience: Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAI, ICAS or equivalent).2 years experience within a finance setting in a complex organisation with staff management experience.Advanced knowledge and experience of using complex formulae and techniques within MS Excel and accounting softwareExperience of maintaining and running financial accounting and computerised accounting systemsAccess to transportPlease refer to Council website for Job Description
