Job Duties: Responsibility for managing stock purchase invoices, maintaining an accurate and up to date record of invoices and accruals for month end management accounts.Supplier Statement Reconciliations.Communicating effectively and working with suppliers and traders on reconciling of accounts and resolving any queries.Perform BACS and cheque payment runs.Set up new accounts on all three IT systems, ensuring sufficient information is received and new supplier forms are fully completed.Involved in the month end process for the purchase ledger.Assist with auditor queries during interim and annual audits.Other general admin duties as required. TeamTo provide accurate recording of invoices to the GRN and delivery docket.Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure close working and shared knowledge.
Qualifications / Experience: Essential CriteriaEducation to GCSE level, including Math and English (Grade C or above).Minimum of 2 years' of purchase ledger experience.Supplier statement reconciliation experience.Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.Excellent organisational skills for effective diary planning and time management.Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.Ability to process large volumes of paperwork quickly and accurately.Ability to effectively interact with suppliers on the phone. Desirable CriteriaRelevant third level qualification.Computer based qualification.Experience in Foodservice or FMCG.Cash experience, counting and allocating cash accurately.Experience of Agresso, Didos and Accord Systems.
