Job Duties: The Finance Officer will be responsible as a member of a multi-skilled team, for a wide range of duties primarily relating to Employee Payments, Income Collection or Supplier Payments. This post will work across all three functional areas as required.The Finance Officer will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the finance service in a confidential manner.Please refer to Council website for a full description of the duties.

Qualifications / Experience: 2 A levels or equivalent and 1 year's experience in a financial environment.Or:5 GCSEs or equivalent and 2 years' experience in financial environment.1 year's experience in a financial environment (for applicants who hold 2 A levels or equivalent).Or:2 years' experience in financial environment (for applicants who hold 5 GCSEs or equivalent).Experience of working as a team member.Experience of data input.Attention to detail.Good communication skills.Ability to work to deadlines.Good numeracy skills.Please refer to Council website for job description.
