Job Duties: Role and Responsibilities:Take ownership of all incoming payment processing including BACs, credit cards, cheques, and ensuring that the related activities of each method are actioned as a priority.Cash processing, ensuring cash is counted, posted and lodged accurately and within time limits.Direct debit collection scheduling and bounced direct debit processing.Allocating payments to invoices including escalating processing and allocation issues to the relevant Credit Controller as appropriate.Support the Credit Control team and Manager with general administration activities.Run debtor statements on a monthly basis.To provide additional support to cover team members during absence.Support with other ad hoc activities as determined by the Credit Control Manager.

Qualifications / Experience: Essential Criteria:Good level of education to GCSE level, including Maths and English (Grade C or above, or equivalent)Minimum of 1 year's administration experience, preferably within Credit ControlExperience of working both as part of a team and by self to achieve targetsComputer literate and experience of using Microsoft Office including Excel and WordExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationshipsExcellent organisational skills for effective diary planning and time managementAnalytical skills and data interpretationAbility to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesStrong written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail Desirable Criteria: Relevant third level qualificationComputer based qualificationExperience in Foodservice or FMCGExperience of Accord IT System
