Job Duties: To provide financial and administrative support to the East Border Region Ltd INTERREG VA Projects including claims and preparation of reports.Co-ordination and implementation of financial and general administration duties associated with the INTERREG VA funded projects. Assisting with the administration of the financial claims and reporting requirements of INTERREG VA on behalf of the East Border Region Ltd.Maintain a monitoring system for all financial and general administrative procedures. Liaise with Lead Partners and Project Partners in the preparation of INTERREG VA claims to ensure compliance with conditions agreed in Letter of Offer and under SEUPB regulations.Liaise with the Lead Partners, Project Partners to ensure claims are accurately and appropriately submitted to SEUPB for efficient drawdown of funds. Organise and service meetingsDeal appropriately with enquiries regarding INTERREG VA funded Projects and liaise with other Officers as necessary.
Qualifications / Experience: Education / Qualifications:Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, two of which must include GCSE English Language or equivalent and GCSE in a numerate subject or equivalentExperience:You must be able to clearly demonstrate at least 2 years experience of working in a Financial and Administrative role including Budget Management.You must be able to clearly demonstrate at least 1 year experience of successfully achieving results to meet timeframes, with external agencies.You must be able to clearly demonstrate at least 1 year experience in Monitoring the eligibility of expenditure in order to draw down funds. You must be able to clearly demonstrate at least 1 year experience of partnership working with a wide range of groups and individuals.Experience working on EU funded programmes.
