Job Duties: Training Contract - Recognised professional qualification (ACCA)Immediate client workAssist new clients in setting up with Toast by handling initial queries Gathering digital records of client information to prepare for successful onboarding to accounting software Processing of invoices and receipts in the cloud accounting softwareBookkeeping support & training Client accounting software support & trainingAssisting in accounts production for Sole Trader¿s, partnerships, and Limited CompaniesCommunicating with clients via Zoom, email, and telephone on a regular basisAssisting in Individual & Corporation Tax ReturnsCompleting workloads delegated by Client ManagerAny other reasonable duties which may be required from management from time to time.Use office Microsoft packages to maintain and update internal reports

Qualifications / Experience: Due to the continued growth and development of Toast Accountants, we are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to be part of a growing team. The successful candidate must be prepared to learn and adapt to the digital age of accountancy and come to terms with Cloud Accounting Software such as Xero and Dext. Toast Accountants will support the successful individual through their accountancy qualifications by providing paid time to attend exams and by paying for the course itself. Degree in Accountancy or related subject (minimum 2:2)Must possess excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills.Ambitious and eager to develop a career in accountancy The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential.Desirable Criteria: Xero software experiencePrevious experience in an Accountancy environment
