Job Duties: Role:As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be reporting to the Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk.The main elements of the role are:Code and process invoices Match credit notes to invoicesReconcile supplier statementsPrepare documents for payment processingWork with suppliers/other departments to resolve high volume of invoice queries Deal with telephone and email queriesMeeting deadlinesAd-hoc duties as required by Senior Purchase Ledger and Financial Controller
Qualifications / Experience: The successful candidate will be confident and a detail-oriented professional, able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.Person Specification:Five GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A to C (including Mathematics and English)Knowledge of COINS / Navision would be desirableExperience:Minimum 1 year's experience in a purchase ledger role Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.Experience in construction sector would be an advantage
